Pilates Teacher Training is Coming to Fairfax, VA!!!

Dilla Mastrangelo and Christopher Potts, Master Instructors from Wellspring Studio in Pittsburgh, PA will offer a Comprehensive Teacher Training here at our Fairfax studio in conjunction with their Pittsburgh studio. You may visit their website at http://www.wellspring-studio.com/training.html

As former educators for Core Dynamics Pilates, Dilla and Chris continue the tradition of offering high quality, personalized teacher training for the developing Pilates professional. This year long course of study includes 4 seminar weekends, apprenticeship with certified instructors, personalized mentoring, and more. Students are expected to take all seminars in order and to complete the program within one year. After successful completion of the Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training, students will be prepared to teach the FULL Pilates Method on all Pilates equipment in a studio setting, as well as sit for the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) National Certification Exam.

You will learn:
- historical Pilates exercises
- the primary goal of each exercise
- how to see and correct posture faults and movement limitations in your clients
- why there is a specific order to the exercises
- how to adapt a specific exercise to a client
- how to structure a private lesson
- the concept behind the system of exercises

Teacher Training Program Pre-requisite:
Three months of steady pilates training, ability to show skill level for mat and equipment exercises.

Studio BE Pilates also offers apprenticeships to a limited number of teacher trainees. Please inquire if you are interested in apprenticing at our studio. We are currently affiliated with Core Dynamics Program as well.
